Squier Debut Series – Precision Bass Everything Review
This is a review video of the Fender Squier Debut Series Precision Bass. I try to cover as much information about the bass as possible to help potential buyers of the bass have enough information to make a buying decision.

Just bent the inside of the jack, and it holds just fine
What color is that?
Nice ????. What strings did you install?
how much the bass weights? is it a heavy bass?
Fantastic review thank you!!!
Good job! Suprised about the slight dive with a strap. Normally these will balance ok when they are 8 to 8.5 lbs. I tried a Sonic P recently and it was both light and balanced. Nice neck too, 1.5 width but had a little chunk to the profile. Not sure what Fender is doing with Squier here. Debut, Sonic, Affinity and Classic Vibe? Maybe they're trying to run all other budget lines out of the market.
Wow did you baptized that bass, since you are doing this review on the alter.
its the jesus bass
I just bought one, liked it so much I bought a second one.
Depending on which factory it was made in will depend on the pickups. I don’t know enough about their Factory codes so I can’t tell where they were from.
My first one is powerful, the second one is a little bit weaker.
Not super noticeable, but side by side same amp same settings, you can tell.
I got the second one to mod anyway so it’s not a big issue with me.
Great review, I’ll be using one of mine at church too.
Love the color and matte finish
I put the apollos in my player jazz, waiting for a debut jazz and debut telecasters to come in stock
The presenter recommended changing the tuning machines because he believed the Debut ones were weak (he didn't say why it how). Anyone know which better ones would replace the ones that came with the Debut without needing to screw in new holes into the head?
aan altar. this is where a precision bass belongs to.
I've got a Squier Pete Wentz that I use for most songs that require a P-tone, but I don't wanna keep wearing it down as it's my first dream bass, plus i want a more sober design for when I don't need to play metal/rock.
Also, on the D string being louder out of the box…my Pete Wentz sig came out that way too and i only adjusted the pickup height to mitigate that.
I used to have an Affinity PJ back in the day and now that I'm looking to get back to playing bass I really want to pick one of these up for my home studio. Seems like it would make a great mod platform good tuners a bridge and maybe some GFS pickups and harness to end up with a great bass at a low price.
This or slightly more for the Squier Sonic? I'm thinking of adding a 34-inch scale bass as my two basses now are both short scale. I want to learn some Motown-type songs and I think a P-Bass is better suited for that sound. I played a Squier Affinity PJ and I wasn't that impressed. I did play a Sonic and I think it had the sound I'm seeking.
Been thinking about buying this bass, but i've heard from one person that the pickups are placed differently from how most P-basses have them. Do you have another P bass around to compare them?
Cual es mejor? El squaier debut precicion bass o el jay turser precicion bass???
I just ordered one! Hopefully I'll love IT! IT's my 1st bass!
Great review my friend and I'm proper sold. Do you know if they all have a matt/satin finish ? .I'm thinking of getting my son one but I know he's not crazy about matt/satin finishes
Nice Looking Squier(Fender)Debut Series Precision Bass-Have you played a Squier Mini P-Bass or a Fender Player II Jazz Bass? I own a Squier Mini P-Bass myself
It's funny how after you hear the player, suddenly it's not the bass's fault.
Atr the pickups on these new model the same as the classic vibe ?
You reccomend me this bass for put a Labella (high tension)
Thanks
5:30: I believe I speak for all Californians with IQ's over 100 when I say that we wouldn't want you to live in California. We have enough cult members who believe in mythical deities as it is. As for the Prop 65 warning: Yes, California does care a LOT more about protecting its citizens from toxins and carcinogens than the shitty state that you live in. It's the difference between living in a desirable blue state versus a backwards red state. And remember: Humans created the gods, not the other way around. Grow up. ????
Hello- is the nut a Jazz width? (1.5")
do u recomend this bass for heavy metal?
For that price I don't see a reason to buy anything else in the budget pbass category. It's also a quick $100 if you want to sell it while you'll never get rid of a Glarry.
Looking for good budget guitars ❓
Tease Guitar..
. great company and customer service ❗
I don't do " budget" guitars BUT Torsten's (owner) view of customer service is great. It got me to buy a Tease SBH-HD guitar, actually got 2.
What the guitar cost and what it is, amazing ‼️ I'm impressed with Tease Guitar.
They should've of matched the price of the Stratocaster at 119. Bass players get screwed a bit because Fender wants a bit more cash?
@23:28 What's that hole next to the pickup rout?
The cutout in the body for forearm comfort is called a front contour…these basses seem a little better than the starcaster series fender was selling through walmart 20 years ago, though I'd have to polish that satin finish to a semigloss
I ordered one in the same color. I hope I like it.
Excellent review, and great bass. They have had a hit with the Debut Stratocasters, so it's time to see Precision Basses, Jazz Basses, and Telecasters get the same attention.
Who else thinks this dude looks like Moby?
If this is the Church of Bass I'm a solid believer. Thanks man!
Colin Robinson is reviewing basses now.
If I didn't have 3 basses already (one being a Fender P bass) I'd of picked this one up.
He lives in a church. 🙂
It looks like the only thing that was left out of these Squire Debut guitars and basses was the glossy paint finish.
I'm choosing my first bass.
If you had to pick one between this and the Affinity at their actual prices, which would you choose? Anyway, nice review. Thanks.
Excellent video, excellent review!! I got my debut bass a few days after you got yours and I am also amazed at the quality of the instrument. Thanks!
Not surprised about the Affinity being worse. I have quite a few Squiers, and the 2 Affinities are the worst of them all. Just imo.
Great Review! How is the neck on the bass? Is it a standard Fender neck or does it feel like a baseball bat?
Wow, thanks man! Nice Work ????????
I have one infinity but technically what is the difference between those???
Could you please shared this beautiful pattern after minute 20
