  • Grub screws hurting your resting palm on the saddles?…no problemo, just replace them with 8mm for your D and G strings, and 6mm for your low E,. A, B, and high E. Guitar manufacturers generally fit 10mm grubs. Problem solved!

  • ????????????I got mine NIB for $125.00. Killer deal and a sweet guitar. I got the transparent black one. The one you have looks more Teal than Turquoise.

  • Mine has Korean made alnico pickups. the chrome finish was coming off the tuners and bent saddles. I put graphteck saddles and hipshot locking vintage tuners on it and Tusq nut. Love the guitar now, really!

  • I bought one their piece of junk buzzing and all strings no setup can take care of it by a squire they're far better or better buy used guitar you get a much better one

  • My Squire never had any fret sprout. The frets all were nicely beveled. Other than that, it's impossible to figure out the action, if it can be intonated, and if it stays in tune, and the nut clearance.

What you did show us is that the single coils were Alnico, which is really fantastic. It's not even mentioned on the specs. Could be a mistake.

  • Just bought the black one as a xmas gift to myself as a knock around guitar since my nicer epi les paul custom is in the shop getting set up. $148 on amazon. I figured why not try this out for that price. Coming the 29th, excited!

  • It's really an impressive guitar especially at its price point. I find myself playing it as much or more than my Fender or G&Ls, I also feel good about taking it out and not worrying about theft, loss or damage. Plus, it gets compliments on looks and sound. Note the fretboard is Laurel not Rosewood and the frets are excellent on mine, no sprout and nicely finished ends. Radius is 9.5, which is OK, but 12" would make this an even more outstanding guitar. I highly recommend to players at all levels.
