Chug Pedal vs RevvG3 – Rough Comparison

In this video I am doing a quick and raw comparison between the Solar Chug Pedal and the Rev G3. This video isn’t about polished production or studio tones. I recorded everything with just the camera mic to give you an authentic feel for how these pedals sound when you’re jamming out live.

I kept it simple – no fancy riffs, just some random chugging and riffing to highlight how each pedal handles dynamics, low-end punch, and clarity.

The Solar Chug Pedal delivers a massive, tight low end with that signature aggressive attack. Perfect for modern metal tones.
The Revv G3 has a slightly different vibe – still heavy, but it leans a bit more into that classic mid-range grind. It’s not as brutally tight as the Chug Pedal, but it definitely has a unique character that stands out.

The goal of this video was to show you how these pedals sound in a real-world setting – not through a DAW or IRs, just how they move air in the room. Both pedals are killer, and honestly, it comes down to what kind of tone you’re chasing.
