  • Thank you for the review. I am trying to decide whether I want the Jaguar or the 60’s classic Precision. I actually had one when I was in high school back in the day. It was a Fender 1964. It was Olympic White w/ Rosewood fret board. I remember that I wasn’t very fond of the color, but you took whatever you could get. And back then I started hot rod-in my basses. I did what I could do, but I also had a luthier repair guy in the basement of the place I bought my first Fender Precision. He did a little custom work like changing the pickup’s out to DiMarzio cream colored ones. I learned something’s from him and I have a high school musician friend who is a repair guy too for a music company and he has own repair shop at his home. I talk to much!

  • I’m looking to get my first bass and this Jaguar has been #1 on my list. I’ve been hesitant because of the scale, but you said it’s fun for reggae and now I’m sold! Thanks man.
