  • This is not a knock on Solar guitars or this video. Just some advice that may help….make sure you get very familiar w Evertune before you purchase a Solar equipped with it from overseas. If you dont like the Evertune process, you wont be able to return the guitar. I made the mistake of blindly purchasing after hearing all the hype only to dislike it. Expensive lesson to learn.

  • Super sick guitar! I would really recommend trying the Evertune out. It took me a little to get used to it but when you learn how to really set it up to your liking and fashion, so much can be personalized and felt that it can really change your mind. I know it did mine hahaha.

Also, I love the guitar the way it is and would really be interested in owning either that exact one or a 7 string variant.

  • That "Reverse" Headstock fits perfectly the "E – Type" (Explorer) Solar shape in my opinion. I saw the Kirk Windstein's one from "DOWN" recently, and it's absolutely awesome !! …. but it's still great on the "S – type" ..!!! I like it more and more !

  • Evertune keeps the tuning but also tuning stability (idk how, black magic) and lets you get away with thin(ner) strings when you tune very low. Very handy for drop F, you can use gauge 72 instead of 85 and not sound like complete mud

  • Thank you for explaining your thoughts on the Evertune bridge. I've seen your negative or not so enthusiastic responses in some prior videos whenever you saw a guitar that had an Evertune bridge. I always wondered why you felt that way.

  • Seems like they just want us to magically figure it out how to use the Evertune. All they need to do is put out a thorough and simple instructional video explaining how to use it, but I can't find anywhere how to use it. The ones available are very confusing and don't explain it well. I just take mine to the store when I need to set it up or change strings.

  • I'm telling you, as soon as you understand how to setup an evertune and play it until you get used to the feel, you will fall in love with it and wish they're on all of your guitars. Perfect for recording and going on tour with. I wish all of my hard tail guitars have an evertune. I actually like the feel of a evertune and don't mind it not doing bends (although you can set it up to do bends). Glad you love the solar. They're sick!

  • Let’s thank @Ola Englund for sending X this beautiful instrument to review. They should have called it the “Mystik” finish , you know from the Brotherhood in the X-MEN cartoons and movies.? Nice CHUGGS bro????! I ❤ the Floods outro, Dimebag is one of my favorites of all time. That’s a fully spec’d out metal machine with a matching headstock, man that’s a lot for the money. Bro I can’t get over that finish ????????????, and it sounds bad ass!! Thanks for sharing brother!, until next time…. Stay metal!!

  • I can’t wait for the next “Escape the Internet” tour. I feel like it’ll be Bernth, Charles, Ola and Xander.

  • Ya know what i love about your riffs. They're easy. And make me have a stank face and want to smash pumpkins. I Love repeating the video/guitar parts to just learn them.
    Love the content. You're awesome!
