1 Minute Ableton Live Tips: How to Tune Your 808 Bass
To tune an 808 in Ableton’s Simpler using the Transpose knob, first activate Simpler’s “Classic” mode and play a MIDI note hitting C on your keyboard to trigger the 808 sound at its original pitch. Monitor the sound with Ableton’s Tuner (located in Audio Effects) and adjust the Transpose knob until the 808 sound is tuned to the desired pitch shown on the Tuner. Use the detune knob as well if needed.

How do you do this but in midi?
So after pitch the 808 in the right note (C), can I put my 808 in any note? D, E, F, etc?
easy and straight to the point, thank you????❤️

some 808s are going crazy in tuner like one second it's in -30 one second it goes to +10 and other second it's -7, do you have any suggestion to how to tune that 808s?
Thank you jesse pinkman!!
bro my ableton doesn’t have a tuner. how can i do this?
do the sample naming key matter? like 808 D, can i play that in c after tuning?
I do this with all my bass and you run through a pitch vst and 9/10 says its in a different key.
