lovely Dan, thanks
Magnificent video! Great teacher!
My reasons why YOU should continue building a youtube career – watch other peoples videos, they ask me to sub, I pretty much unreasonably say get f'd cnt… watched a cpl of your vids, don't even notice you asking and thought to myself almost straight away I'd better sub to Dan and his chan lol
I never would have guessed you as a Mr. Bungle fan! You dark horse.
Fanstaic video Dan! Its the first I’ve seen of yours so have subscribed. It’s so refreshing to see a YouTuber presenting their info without feeling the need to be overly enthusiastic, quirky, or uber cool. Keep up the great down to earth work!
Very good explanation!!
That was an excellent video, thank you.
I really like active circuitry.
Are you going clean into your interface without amp simulation with every bass? 06:35 almost sounds like there's some saturation on there?
As bass guitarists too many of us only focus on technique and not our sound. I've heard player's especially in jazz booming over the whole ensemble because they don't understand how to blend in. Your sessions really hit home ????
I REALLY enjoy your channel (and I’ve watched more than a few for a number of years now).
I really appreciate your style and approach. I’ve learned much. Thank you for this.
You mentioned in a recent video that you were looking for a Sire. I was wondering if you had found one yet. (I say that as a Sire P7 owner. Just to be clear and open.) I’d be interested to know your thoughts on playing situations for such a bass. I’m not asking you to turn your fine bass lessons approach into a bass review channel. Those are already out there.
Thanks again for everything.
Love that tone, gotta tell me ur strings man! Great video, too
Great video thank you
I would like to ask how lightly you pluck with your fingers, flexibility and achieve a round deep bass sound naturally
Thanks for the straight to the point, no nonsense, excellent content, I just recently discovered your channel and I'm going through all your past videos 🙂
Also I just found out that a great book I bought some time ago about creative exercises for bass was written by you.
Please carry on delivering great teaching!
Great advice! Best info on sounds and technique I’ve seen so far. Thanks.
For the string muting could I just use some foam on the bridge? Or will that give a different tone? Thanks! You’re making great videos 🙂
