As far as it comes to Peace Sells, as a former guitar player, converted to bass: You can play the song finger style as long as you pluck harder. Sounds almost the same if not better by any standards ????

The funny thing about song 10, I kept hoping you'd somehow include Day of the Baphomets by The Mars Volta, but you did just as well by picking Juan Alderete's old band Racer X. He truly is one of the best of all-time.
As a older guitarist just leaning bass.. I am not sure how much I learned from this video, but i sure enjoyed it. 😀 I will probably take the plunge and start taking the lessons soon.
you should try fight fire with fire is insanely hard. its not a left hand song at all but its living hell for the right hands fingers i still wonder what crack cliff was smoking to play that song

Cliff Burton, Steve Harris and John Myung. Probably (my) holy trinity of bass players. I literally don't understand how they are able to play certain riffs. (Specially you John, Dance of eternity is literal *hell*)

run to hills is not even maiden's fastest gallop.
it was like 150 bpm , steve broke that speed , on 86's Caught some where in time with a gallop that was doing 180 bpm . and then broke it again with the following album (7th son of a 7th son) on the song Only the Good Die Young which was like 195 bpm.
after learning those two , run to the hills feels slow to me.
abt run to the hills, its not how hard you hit the strings but how fast. the touch has to be really light. so you can get fast riffs.
I just started bass two days ago and I can already play nothing else matters by Metallica and I'm pretty decent already I don't know how I'm already at a intermediate level probably cuz I also play guitar

I play clasic guitar and this was the first thing i learned on bass 8:50
Just today I told a guy I’m a bassist. He asked if I play Slayer and I was all, “I’m no Tom Araya.” Maybe I should look into that more.

You're playing for 20 years and you still feel inadequate. Cliff Burton was already a genius when he died in 24 years old, incredible.
