I broke a string the first day I bought mine
The 3rd strings must be inverted, otherwise you cannot play with your fingers
I tune my 3 strings 1/16 of a step up to get that big chorus sound. Try it! I like to hear all 12 strings in my playing
I personally feel it's the other way around
