NOTIFICATION SQUAD! It's me, ya boy. Which bass was your favorite? I definitely had one but you'll have to guess which it was!
J bass is the best for me.
That Jackson x series concert bass has exactly the same scratch plate as the classic Rickenbacker 4003 bass, which is not featured here.
One of the most informative bass videos I’ve ever seen. Great concept and could be scaled up … if you ever dad the time!
The Adam Clayton bass has this Preci touch. I love it! The Harley Benton sounded nice too. All Gibsons sond like s..i. The Fenders sound awesome as expected.
What a great idea!
A few observations: 1. the Squire Bronco really pops to my ears, probably the least expensive bass in the video, 2. What really seems to impact Bass tone is not the bass itself. I have found that tone settings and strings in addition to our fingers make the greatest impact. 3. After a lifetime of working on it, I’m finally getting close to what I want to hear from my rig. Two crucial elements: Sansamp bass drive, contoured or smiley EQ, great bright stings. I used Stringjoy rounds on a fender precision last night and LOVED it. I’m currently using a Rumble 500 head and either one or two single 15” with horn cabs. Beautiful, light, and affordable!
Thanks for posting this! ❤️
You could try one riff with different string calibers.
From the thinnest to the thickest of the strings.
Fun comparison. I liked the way you did it. I was looking for my Lākland !
I would take them all to be honest…
Pbass 4ever!!
no one going to talk about the fender/squier p bass while headstock says jazz bass??
The Gibson's, Warwick's, and Bronco, held up surprisingly well to me.
Am I imagining things or does that "Fender/Squier Standard Precision Bass" have a Squier Jazz Bass neck?
That Jackson is gorgeous
20 more episodes would not harm anyone!
Jazz bass
1:33 это что за покемон?
All the Gibsons sounded great, with the Thunderbird clearly taking the competition, to my ears, and to my surprise.
They all have their own use cases, but my favs were the SG and the Jazz.
Same strings used? New strings?
In a bar or concert hall, in the context of a full band playing…..? No discernable difference.
I liked the Jackson and Sire. I liked their high end definition.
The EB-0:????????
Spector !!!
I go for the Bronco!
Where is musicman?
The 2nd one def won. And the Gene Simmons Axe, wtf.
