I like your sensitive narrative, when introducing Lennon’s first house, observing that the decent thing to do would have been to leave the house to his wife and son, rather than sell it out from underneath them when he abandoned his family for “the other woman”.
What a nasty thing to do! Tough enough the son loses his father, but then to have his whole world turned upside down, to kick the mother and child out of the house. Take away the place of all their memories. Childhood home gone. Wow. So much for all that “peace and love”…????
