This is so helpful. I've looked at other YT lessons on this song and none have the same cool strumming pattern. I'll be practicing yours for sure. I just started learning guitar (for the fourth time!) a little over a month ago. Also, I looove the trick of lifting off one chord on the last (up-)strum to have time for the next chord. That's a game-changer!
Btw, for now I'm using a two-finger G chord (muting the 5th string with the finger on the 6th fret and fretting the 1st string) but will use your pivot finger trick when I graduate to the four-finger version.
