SOLAR 42f is a unique experimental electro-music instrument, an analogue microtonal ambient drone machine. It will inspire you to find a new and spontaneous approach to composing music.
The instrument is oriented for live performances, creating film soundtracks, theatre soundtracks, atmospheric sounds, microtonal and background music. The instrument was inspired by early electronic musical instruments of the 1920s and 1950s, notably Leo Theremin’s «Harmonium» instrument, as well as science fiction film soundtracks.

I know some people are really sensitive to AI things which to be honest aren’t even really “AI “things that’s just the marketing term that’s blanketed across a wide range of technologies these days but anyways, thanks for uploading the video. Good stuff. I think I understand the envelope follower now. I still appreciate my non-F early version and this video still makes sense. One thing missing is external clock to sequencer. It's not so straight forward as one would think. I was able to sync from a FB user's suggestion through the keyboard jacks, but I forgot the setup.
At first I thought AI voice Tutorial?????? but soon fell under the AI hypnosis and watched the whole video no problem
Got mine months ago, no tutorial but completely enjoyed the journey working it out (still experimenting) ☺

Thanks for the informative video, there are some functions that I understand a lot better now. However, I have a question:
Is there a way to use the drone voice’s CV input and the light sensor independently from one another? From what I can see it seems as if it’s either the light sensor only or CV AND light sensor. It would be great if you could use the CV by itself too without light affecting the pitch. Is this possible?
Also, a workflow suggestion:
It would be great if it was possible to, in say a firmware update, we could somehow rather (or also) use the touch plates to edit the sequencer, i.e. plates 1-8 switch sequencer gates on and off in ‘gate edit mode’ or pressing and holding a plate in ‘note edit mode’ selects that corresponding sequence slot and you tune it similar to the keyboard tuning mode. From a workflow perspective, this would make the sequencer a lot easier, way more intuitive, and faster to use than with JUST the encoder.
I can imagine paring this beast with my B2600… wow that would be very special….
