  • You would not believe the timing on this course. I was just asked to move to bass from guitar in the Worhip team. Thank you

  • Is this representative of how most of your lessons are organized and presented? Because I'm over 30 minutes in, and have literally only played one scale for 20 seconds. Are these lessons going to all be more lecture than exercise?

  • 1st minute of a jazz course: The point is to give you a « Rock solid formation » that was a nice choice of words ????❤!

  • This is awesome. This 4 hour took me the whole weekend to go through. Especially lesson 7 was quite harsh and took me quite some times.

  • This video is really delivering for me, thank you Scott and friends. With a chord fingering chart on the wall and this video I'm really getting my head around a lot of the chord tone theory.

  • This course is a great effort by you. I, for one of many, do appreciate your time and work in allowing the public to work on really learning the bass guitar. Thank you very much.

  • Thanks for this course.
Very inspiring for me as a novice. It helps me doing stuff woven into my practicing that sounds like a beginning of making music. A big eye opener was the contruction of walking bass lines using a seventh chord up and another seventh down starting at the third (or fifth). It helps making chord progressions musical, and it helps understanding bass lines in standard notation. A course that I will come back to more than once. Still a lot to do learning to navigate the fretboard, modes chords, boxes, rhythms et cetra. But this is nice little jump forward with some usefull pegs for further learning. Cheers!

  • Speaking of Jazz, I just saw a 5 string 42 inch stand up 5 string bass, I was like wow that looks fun.
I didn't know they made the small form factor basses like this, kind of cool sounding and it's not very huge and fits on a guitar stand, kinda cool.
I never had a stand up bass, but why not…seems like fun.
