Guitars of the Day! After decades of de facto neglect, the Surfcaster is officially back in Jackson’s lineup. This time they have much less of the “surf rock” vibes than they had before, and they’re also more attainably-priced, though they seem sneakily (but intentionally) designed with mods in mind.

Need a model with a Floyd ,pointy headstock and Seymours
Man I wish the 7 had two pickups and that the logo wasn't taking up the entirety of the headstock. Not to take away from the fact that we aren't just seeing the same rinse and repeat dinkys year after year! Maybe 2026 will be the year they put some color and proper pickup configurations on these guys. Gotta start somewhere!

To bad the x series sucks. Chinese/Indo made garbage unfortunately.
In 2025 they named one of their colors snow white. I'm not sure if that was to mock the movie by actually using white or it's just uncanny timing but it's definitely silly.

If you are releasing Surfcasters, what about using pastel finishes like Daphne Blue and Surf Green/Specific Ocean? Black and white seem like metal finishes to me.
