That little pluck with your middle finger is a great tip…especially if you aren't so fast in skipping strings with your right hand. I used it all the time now and gives a nice attack as well.

Awesome! I got diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis in 2010 and my hand tremors were so bad I couldn't hold a glass without spilling. I got the idea that if I could find something to do with my hands it might help. Well I picked my old guitar up and I have been following your videos online because I can't afford lessons. What I'm trying to say, is now my tremors are completely gone and I'm not doing too bad at guitar either! Thanks alot.

@Savtaism Playing notes super fast and picking them all without using hammer-ons and pull-offs that way creating the specific sharp sound of the strings instead of legato. That's why Papa Stache said it's more like half shredding, because he uses SOME of the legato thingies in this video. 😛
