In this video Frank & Travis go in-depth with their current touring rigs, the gear they use and why they love it! These guys each have their own insane pedigree in the supergroup that is LS Dunes, so it’s really cool to see how they’re utilising their equipment from band to band, from My Chemical Romance & Coheed and Cambria, to the insane show that is LS Dunes, as you can see from the live footage – It’s just awesome!

Besides the guitars, Frank Iero’s gear is quite different to his My Chemical Romance rig! Utilising an on stage pedalboard & switching system, as opposed to rack-mounted, off stage, MIDI switching setup. Whereas Frank Stevers gear is almost identical to his Coheed and Cambria rig (besides his new violet Gibson Les Paul Standard), as he’s using the same Fractal Axe FX Rig, with the same presets, just utilising the tones in new, unique ways!

Its still such a fever dream to see Coheeds guitars with Mychems guitars with Anthony Green from Circa survive/saosin fronting and thursday on the rhythm section. Its literally a super group that I am super excited for!!

This is awesome. Hearing these guys talk about their instruments, and music as a whole— you can tell they have so much love for this. Plus, Travis is such an underrated guitarist, truly a top notch shredder!!! So cool for him to get a spotlight too.

Frank was so right when he said that if you play once with sharps you never get back ???? I used one of his picks out of desperation (as every other pick just disappeared) and my life wasn’t the same since. Now the sharps are my go to picks!

I know Frank was in this band but I had no idea about Travis as well, love both their playing styles so I may go check this band out and I gotta say that purple Les Paul that Travis has looks absolutely fucking gorgeous. Love it
