  • I like the idea of this pedal, but I'm struggling to actually like it. It might sound different in the room, but it sounds pretty bad to me.

  • Another program talking about rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic or explaining why you should be in the buggy whip business sooner or later Rob you have to wake up music is over

  • For $129 at guitar center that's a lot cheaper than a $400 IK Multimedia ToneX, obviously not as many features, but that's pretty damn sweet sounding for the price !

  • I'm confused about the scenes. Are you able to switch between two different settings of the same amp (a Friedman, for example) to recreate switching the clean and overdrive/distortion channel as if you are using a channel switcher foot pedal? I don't know if it's just me, but when you were switching among 3 different scenes for a certain amp, the graphic on the pedal changed and it looked like a different amp.

  • I have a Chapman ML3 Pro Modern in Satin (Dark Red) and not only is it a Monster Workhorse, it’s everyone else’s fave out of My collection and I’ve been begged to sell it. I can’t , I believe it’s one of the First if not the first Generations and the set access neck, insane tuning stability and ability to drop and sound like a Baritone, Reverse headstock, Locking Tuners, string thru, I can go on and On! I Love it! I don’t understand why so Many of You endorsers or sponsored signature” players have want to go elsewhere. It’s Excellence and top tier. Thank You!

  • I've still with me a TC Electronic Nova Repeater that I purchased when i frst saw you on YT ….long hair with a band stripe like a real rock star 🙂 I can see that time really goes by …but we're still doing the very same old thing so no remorse nor regret.

  • Nu-X is blessed to have Rob, the best reviewer in the business supporting their products. No one explains better.

  • Thanks for posting! I need advice: My TRX Wallet contains some TRX 20 USDT, and I possess the backup phrase: clean party soccer advance audit clean evil finish -tonight involve whip -action-. What’s the best way should I handle sending them to Bybit?

  • Ive got limited space/sonic space at home so Ive been headphone mainly (currently Katana GO – but I love the NUX MP2 and MP3). I use the NUX Mightly Lite 2 with a (cheap but really good) wireless system. NUX practice/home amp stuff is so good.

Their pedals are awesome, the Horseman imo is one of the best klons out there – not just "on a budget".

If I went back pedal board again – I'd be sorely tempted by this – I am sure the sounds are something similar to the Mighty Series or the MG units – and they are just great. Having a LCD screen on this surprised me – thats a great feature.

  • That actually looks like a cool little display with the amp and all. With the headphones jack it could be a cool little practice tool as well just with your board

  • Did someone messed the audio? it sounds a bit… thin, hairy… idk, maybe you guys need to check your recording settings? I cn tel you a boss gt1 with a cheap celestion speaker through an 80's fender fx return sounds waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Im not a studio tech… i just plug, set and play…

  • Half the time I can see the pedal settings without using glasses, this setup can be Mounted on a stand at waist height, connected by a wireless setup so you can move freely and change things as needed without tap dancing

  • Adding reverb to the verbcore would make it an adverb? Just kidding, this sounds amazing. Basically you could perform sets in smaller places using this rig…this is also a great addition to an on-the-road-rig for practising….and the guitar sounds (and looks) great. I think manufactured in my home city of Chennai?

  • Nu-X has been doing some really cool stuff in the last two years. I’m so glad you’ve forged a relationship with them so we can get an inside look at their factory and products!

  • Luv you bud, luv your channel- you helped me become a decent slide player. You gave me one piece of advice that changed everything and is super simple- stop looking for the fret expecting the note to be on top of it and just listen for the note. Makes all the difference in the world. That said, when you're demoing pedals like this, connecting them to a valve head and running them through a real cab is kind of cheating and doesn't tell us much about what it's going to sound like when we mere mortals connect it to our headphones, powered FRFR cab, or whatever reasonably affordable solution we've found for being heard. If we had a valve head, we probably wouldn't be buying a pedal like this to begin with. But hey, NU-X makes great stuff usually, I have no doubt it's a good pedal. I just think it will sound dramatically different if you run it using the cab sim with no valve head or real cab involved.

I mean, if you want a Chapman branded StompFX or whatever you want to call it, I've been threatening to build a amorphous pedal with a 5 buck FPGA in it that becomes whatever you want it to be for years. I thought about the ability to download hardware upgrades/changes at least 20 years ago.

    Fund me, let's goooo!
