Acoustic B200H Bass Head

Acoustic B200H 200w Bass Head

The Acoustic B200H Bass Head is both reliable and sounds great, with a preamp that has a very natural, tube-like compression to it! Features of the B200H are two instrument inputs: one active and one passive, a gain control to add a little crunch or distortion, or you can choose to keep the gain low for a clean smooth sound, a sweepable frequency notch filter to adjust your mids and a 6-band EQ to further customize your sound.

On the back of the amp the Acoustic B200H Bass Head features a balanced direct out XLR with level control, a ground lift if needed, two external speaker outs and a parallel effects loop.

  • Bla bla bla
I see all the options on the front. Play the amp man. Let us hear the sound. ☹️

  • The EQ options of this amp head (aside from the innate quality of it) really made it stand out for me. Compared to everything else I have ever seen or demoed at various shops or other musicians/bands rehearsal spaces, the range of control this offers a player to alter the frequency ranges is unmatched. I’ve never been able to make a guitar tone anything remotely close to what I get from this. And when considering the price tag, this is truly an underrated gem.

  • I recently got one one these heads. And I’m plugging it in my cabinet using the bass heads upper left-most input (in he back). But when I do, the sound is pretty faint. Am I plugging it in correctly? What could be the issue? The power? It’s really getting the volume I want. Please help!

  • I haven't used this rig in years because I no longer live in a house and there are "noise limits" but I ran my bass>200h/Sansamp RPM>Clone Theory Stereo/Chrous Pedal>Acoustic 410/GK Backline 112. I had my sansamp going through everything which sounded amazing.

  • I bought one of these and the B115 cabinet back in 2010. It's getting moderate to heavy use and hasn't failed. @David Stonski You are absolutely correct. It takes a bit (took me several months of playing around with it), but once you get "that sound", man, is it something.

  • I have the b200 combo and I'm relatively new to playing, I recently blew the fuse and don't know how to get at the old one to put a new one in can someone post a video as to how install a new fuse.

  • I have the B30 combo, the B200H, and, the B300H. I daisy chain the 200H/Acustic1X15 bottom with the 300H/Acustic4X10 bottom.  It takes a while to get the hang of using them, maybe that's why they're not more popular. Once you "get it" they sound great…Slap to beefy. Hint; to round the sound out I use the mid-cut switch.

  • Waiting on UPS to bring mine today. I had the 100 watt combo version of this and it was fucking BEAST. So I KNOW this head is going to serve me well. And honestly, he was dead on about how nice it is, but he could have played it and showed a few of the millions of tones you can get from it.

  • ground lift is for when you plug your bass head into a sounds system for the xlr out which usually stops the buzzing when going into the syste, and the horn is the tweeter which is for you really high end
