  • Ian, you owe us a Beetronix Royal Jelly review. I absolutely love this thing (sorry Scott, sold the Pork n Pickle in favor of this).

  • Ian dude! Please tell what effect(s) you dialed up in the Stolp to emulate the Doom 2 ???????? That sounds sick!!

  • Love the pedal video. Can we have a run down of signal chain at all ? (Sorry if this has been done already!) For instance, pre and post DI signals /use of amp DI or mic's and how the signal gets from the bass to the FOH (and how many you send over) thanks

  • Was actually inspired by Mr. Devine to try the pork and pickle and am in love with the overdrive I’m getting from it. Also give the Trondheim Skarbass a listen. Have that as well and love it.

  • My big new to me discovery in 2025 is the Genzler Four On The Floor bass overdrive. If there was ever a bass version of the Klon Centaur this is it. The "1st gear" with my Spector Euro standard 5 string (the j bass) has a beautiful sweet and "sparkly" overdrive, lots of harmonics in it. It's extremely touch sensitive going from just a hint of overdrive to heavy overdrive just depending on how hard you pluck (fingers and/or pick). I have the drive set at 3 o'clock to get this. Absolutely no loss of low end with the two independent drive and clean volume knobs,.. and true bypass so when it's off it doesn't add any kind of weird eq to your tone. I think it's one that if it ever gets discontinued, it would show up on eBay and reverb for $500+ after everyone realizes what they missed out on. Thanks for the great video guys and for sharing your favorites right now!

  • Nice video guys! Can you help us understand how to set up a compressor please? Release – Attack – Emphasis – Compression

  • Oh maaaan!! I´ve been playing with a Cory Wong Compressor Wrampler, then a big guff, Octave MXR and a MXR envelope filter, that´s my gear right now. The beautiful Compressor have a very awesome boosts that warm up the sound

  • Scott checked out on potentially the best pedal in this lineup ???? Gotta get me a Doom2

  • The KMA Endgame solved some issues for me on my pedal board. I really love KMA since they have a blend on almost all of their pedals. Their Chief Disruptor from a few years ago is the best version of a muff I've used.

  • Compressors are amazing because they really bring the voice out of your bass

  • Ian you inspired me to buy the Noble, it’s not on your mini board! See if Jack will make you a mini. My guitar player likes the Pinstripe. Sorry we already both use the HX stomp I can’t match my guitar player anymore gear wise . Gotta be different Effectode makes great compressors the Cali is cool and small, but the LA-1A by Effectrode is AMAZING, but yeah sized like the big Origin cause it has 3 TUBES in it. Something about a tube compressor. I bought my second compressor (Keeley Bassist) in 2020 before switching to the LA-1A. I remember when I started playing in 2002, I bought a rack mount DBX 160 (1st compressor) and run it with my ampeg half stack. I didn’t hear anything so returned it. Then went 18 years without one. I didn’t know how much it could add to my playing. I love how you can feel compression in your fingers just a little bit. So good. The POG on the Stomp sounds just like this. Scott needs the Stomp he has too many pedals???? our boy Janek really likes the MXR vintage octave cause it’s a copy of the original OC-2.

For the Pena29, my Peterson StroboStomp has a good buffer in it. Wonder if this would benefit my board with EQ. Already have EQ on my MTD and Noble and usually EQ Stomp effects.

Thinking about the Orange Origin been looking for an Analog overdrive for gain staging. Do you gain stage with the Stomp Ian?

  • I’ve watched many videos on this pedal. It looks and sounds amazing, but I keep on reading and hearing it has a huge learning curve. Am I correct?

  • I laughed so hard when Scott lifted his arm and said he showed up to the gig with his pedals in a carry bag ????

  • What is that “IMA” switch block thing on the HX Stomp? And is it necessary to fully use Ian’s preset packs?
