Funny thing … I’ve been playing bass for decades in local live bands and I never used any effects .
I just play around with my Fender Bass amp to achieve the sound .
I’m curious though.
I wonder what specific effect or effects are out there that could improve the sound ??
I know nothing about them and wouldn’t even know where to start .
On the bright side ?
Playing out live shows since the 80’s and never had any complaints.
Mostly cover tunes from Beatles to The Clash and Cheap Trick to VH and Ozzy to Aerosmith and Nirvana to Foo Fighters .
Loud and aggressive.
