I've got a cheap 5W Fender practice amp (not a digital one!) and other than that it doesn't have tons of low-end, it sounds okay. If you close mic it, works fine as a clean pedal platform. And you can pick them up basically for free! Is it ideal? No, but it's usable, which is the whole point.
You know what else a tiny amp is good for? Blues harp!
