London Calling was the peak of rock'n'roll.
Just heard Johnny Green has passed. Another gentleman gone
Thanks to The Clash, Don Letts and many more who gift to the people this data!!!!
Cheers from Argentina.
The People loves truth and social justice!!!!! Thanks one more time and Stay Free, without Complete Control and keep the White Riot (and every social right) with fury to the System of Stablishment………
No more hurt to the people!!!!!
pd: sorry abouth my bad sinctaxis…..
I don't know if i listened more to Pistols Never Mind or the Clash in the American version containing White Man in Hammersmit Palace.
Possibly more than these two I listened only the Singles Album from 999, a band that sadly nobodies remember
They were created and used by the masonry (satanism)
to sell the new world order (communism/anarchism),just like the Pistols …
Don Letts, always eloquent and insightful
West London poseurs who would not even existed if it wasn't for the Pistols.
I loved them for a while but they became boring very quickly. Fake socialist preaching wore thin very quickly.
JohnRobb is like a talking head who never knew the band ,was not there and comes over as an arse.
Every clip of Terry Chimes is ruined by an unbearable high pitch hiss, skipped those bits as a result.
Who was the diplomats son ?
Art students ,,,,, not street cool kids like the pistols ,,,,
Saw them twice Scarborough in 77 and at the death leeds uni 82 but it was OK because mick came back with BAD
the ringing when the man in the cream suit talks is too much to sit through.
Great music , painful politics from a Diplomats Son.
Johnny Green Glasses does the best job of describing what the band went through after the first two LPs and the first U.S. tour. Better than any of the band members themselves. Taking the record executives for a game of football, then listening to rough versions of songs, and then the creative process for the songs that would be on 'London Calling.'
Great documentary, I don't know much about the band but the common famous radio singles
..Fantastic piece of music history and culture..I was there,it was so shit in the 70s it was great..God Bless the best of us..????❤????
