  • If you run your board through the effects return. I recommend the use of an EQ pedal between the distortion(s) and time based effects.

Only inputting to the effects return bypasses the preamp clean and dirty channels and just runs through the power amp section.

Imagine the amp volume turned up 100% and all the EQ knobs up all the way as well.

You'll need a good EQ pedal to fine tune things

  • Like the briefcase in Pulp Fiction, "Yeah! We happy."
Pedalboards look cooler, and more fun than multi-digital effects. I'm… older, and have just started fiddling with my first Big Muff! 6:36 Nice. Cheers for the instructional video. All the best.

Along with delays, reverb, compressors…. Then a case for my jazzmaster… Then strings.. Cleaning gear…. A new board… I think I'm about 8k down in two weeks ????????????next I need the jcm 800 stack…. • Since I'm a newbie i need to understand something. Would this be considered a 4 cable method? And how does the send and return work on the fx loop? So 1 cable goes into one of the modulation pedals then the the last pedal back into the fx loop? Which way am I going with return and send?

  • what is the deal with a pedalboard like this? Would this whole board go straight through the front of the amp or would some of these pedals go through the FX loop?
