What guitar do you use?
Beautiful
Nice!
Mixolydian is basically the most used scale in rock
Ooh.
Aeolian without the 6 gives a Celtic vibe as well, only a bit moodier.
Maximize the Celtic vibe by leaving out the 6, in this case the B. You end up with the Celtic Hexatonic scale.
How about roman/hellenic sounding scales
YES!!!!!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Bro, the 15sec video thing is super frustrating at this point lol. Let’s see a whole video on stuff like this…also, I’ve noticed you talk about scales, modes etc but in my 34yrs of experience feel, timing & rhythm are just as if not more important than the notes you play. What makes me think of this specifically with this video you show a brief clip of you playing a chord & the scale but make no mention about how the feel, rhythm & timing are really what makes something sound “Irish” or “thrash” or whatever genre you’re looking to play.
Bout like all I can do on the mando
Also known as the “AC/DC scale”
