So beautiful and so sexy. Love you all all my heart. MY BOY…..
in earlier interviews he said the riff came from a circus music he heard in his childhood. his always chaning the story of that riff.
RATAN TATA met leading guitarist Slash of Guns n Roses band to give keys of new Jaguar luxury car,
Slash feels excited to receive his new car keys from Ratan Tata himself.
seems like he's forgotten his shred at home
This song was playing on the radio the day I brought my first born daughter home from the hospital ❤
Shred with Deep Purple: Smoke on the water
Slash cops feel with girl on his shirt…lol… 0:29
Slash is a influencer guitar player
love your work, but please give us all a break. your magestic VERSION is a new VERSION of "unpublished critics", a song of the band "australian crawl" (year 1981). would be nice if someone in GnR would admit he heard the original and then showed the chords (or all of it) to the (part of) rest of the guns n roses members, herewith starting the creation of the GnR VERSION. would also be nice to know who in the label (record company) showed the original to the GnR band member(s). I don't care if there was a copyright for "unpublished critics" of "australian crawl" in the USA or not – I simply know the original is beautiful too and that the IDEA for this melody, rithm etc. is not yours, but theirs (= of AUSTRALIAN CRAWL). all the best anyway (your own work is wonderful too)
Slash nr.1????
Typical top 40 rock junk.
he's very humble. he was the core of all of those songs. none of those guys can do it without him but he can without them which is why velvet revolver was also great.
Nothing Can Beat The Original Band. Some Things Just Have The Right Chemistry To Be Amazing, And The Original Guns N Roses Had That Chemistry. Long Live Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, And Steve
I love hearing this story of the song, I've got so much love for slash, mainly coz his English but how could you not be proud of him if his one if your own?
"And…" "And .." "and…" 🙂
❤️slash❤️
Jesus Loves You
Intro sounds like a calliope, so fun but definitely a barn burner.
Australian Crawl..????????. Love Slash, cool brutha’.
with that solo i could make lyric too is so good . still no leak where he god idea. atleast we know that one not alive xD
Wish I was there when they were writing this song
Sweet Child O' Mine riff is slightly similar to UFO's riff in "Rock Bottom", just the latter being slower but it has a bit of the same idea.
I've been playing this with the index, ring, and pinky fingers for years and always got annoyed at having to bar the ring finger across three strings, because sometimes I'd accidentally hit the C on the 2nd string and it would sound god awful. Came here specifically to look at his hands, and he doesn't do that at all. Time to re-learn it.
Energies between artists genius and masterpiece is born love this❤❤????????????????????????
Finally! 1:48 I don't feel like I'm the only person on Earth that is irked by Sweet Child O' Mine, but also thinks the song is redeemed by the solo. When I hear the intro I know I have to grin and bear 3 and a half minutes to reach one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. When that second solo kicks in and then gets dialed to 11 with the wah, makes it some seriously legendary guitar playing. The fact that the solo is in harmonic minor should make all the "Slash only knows pentatonic" haters realise that making harmonic minor sound so epic is literal genius.
Sweet Child creation told by Slash! Fantastic!
You're looking at one of the greatest guitar players of all time PERIOD
Slash hates Sweet Child O' Mine. I don't know why he hates it, but it's still a greatest hit
awesome just awesome
its a gift i tell you……
I love the constant amp buzz in the background????
Old video but still found it today. I count my money because of the price shields behind Slash ????
He has huuuge forearms
No one ever mentions the chords for the song being one of the most important thing to make it awesome, so many nice changes really allow for the epic solo to be what it is. Take the same solo and play it over 3 chords in the right key and it's still never gonna happen work so well. ????????
The story I heard about it is the riff came from trying to make some producers laugh at a studio. They came walking in and he was trying to play something really sappy and cheesy to make them laugh, but they ended actually liking it. I don't remember where I read that….
that 1988 Slash riff…?…hey…nothing to do with hearing Alex Lifesons "Xanadu" intro riff that he wrote in 1977??….and Axl? repeating "Where do we go…" nothing to do with UFO's Phil Mogg repeating "Where do we go" in "Rockbottom….in 1974???……like ten years before?..Anyone else notice these two uncanny resemblances?
