Сomparison of capacitors for bass guitar. Which one is better?
In this video, I compare the sound of a passive jazz bass in which different 0.022 uf and 0.047 uf capacitors are soldered. The sound of the guitar was taken directly through the audio interface without processing. Write in the comments which sound you liked the most

What is the practice sound ur using? And what is the tab sir. Ty. Want to practice it
Definitely the .47!
Is that 500k pots or 250k?
Replacing 250k pots with 500k pots and a .022uf cap is pretty much the only upgrade you need on any budget Bass. The pickups are rarely the problem. It's the cheap small 250k pots and tiny green stock cap that need replacing.
Thanks! Like the 0.47 myself.
Have I missed something, how I am supposed to know which is the 22 or 47?
What kind of pots are you using?
What's the brand of capacitor?
047uf
Thanks for. The demo buddy. I’m about to mod my jazz bass and have a couple of questions before I buy the pots and parts. 1. Are you running a standard j bass set up? 2. Are the strings the same ie. brand, size, age? 3. Are the pickup the same make and is their secs similar? Thanks for the help. Thump on, the show ain’t happening with out floor shaking. Sincerely, Pops Fitch. 60 years unnoticed and proud of them
Post script: I have 47’s in them now.
Yes! This is the video I needed. The .047 is definitely more fat and mellow, in a good way. Thanks for sharing.
0.022 for jaco sound !!!
0.047 cap is better.
more in the pocket, better in every way from a mix perspective from the get go, with any PU option.
Cool! ????✌️✌️
