SLAMMER SHIRT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He can’t be all that lost he has the sense to wear a Ramones shirt
Ok????????
… Then, mix out the bass completely, and even you can sound just like Jason on and justice for all
Jason was also the best backing vocalist the band ever had.
I feel so bad for Jason!! He had to fill in for Cliff freaking Burton after a horrible tragedy!! No way was that gonna end well!!
Your pick is too thin. Try at least 3mm
Cliff was gone, maybe they took put the bass in memory of him? But Justice is the worst sounding metallica album they made because of it. Buzzy guitars, flat dry drums and no bass.
His tone sounded great. Yours was ok didn’t quite get there… Too flat. Sounds like your strings are old maybe? Also, hot take, but I think Jason had way better tone than Cliff and I think his playing was tighter, punchier, and all around more tasteful. Cliff was a slop fest a lot of the time and even though he had some cool parts here and there I didn’t really like his style. I’m not a huge Metallica fan either way but I think Jason is the most fitting bass player the band has had.
Looks like it's still lost
Which song Idk this one
Wczoraj słuchałem And justice…na smartfonie…i pierwszy raz słyszałem bas. To było niesamowite…
Day 75 of asking for Jesse F Keeler's BEHS tone
Listen to Newsted with Voivoid.
He was the heart of Metallica
You forget to turn the volume to zero…
Great bass on the first 2 flotsam and jetsam albums too.
Never cared Metallica, and I will never care for Metallica.
Jason?? Cliff was above all
Jason Newsted en su mejor momento, en …And Justice for all.
Hi DANNY SAPKO – I used to like playing about with the thinnest bendiest plectrum, or PICK – then I'd go all normal at the practice session & play with a much stiffer pick – when I look back on my playing days, noodling away with the thinnest (shark fin) pick, in my room, was the most fun I was having.
….the question of supporting PLECTRUM-using bassists….top tone for me is Mike Starr of Alice In Chains, following the bass in Love Hate Love is brilliant!!!
Is that a Slammer (the band) t shirt? That's awesome! Nice!!!!!! Hail from Sweden!
"and set volume to 0" ha ha, obvious joke
????????
Speaking of tone, it sounds like Danny is using more of his 'normal' voice in this video.
AJFA was the last brilliant Metallica album the fan made Justice For Jason is brilliant too
I would turn the treble down to three or four, pretty cool anyway.
I think that jason uses 0.7 dunlop tortex triangle
I heard it was something to do with the guitar tones resulting in the bass being heavily turned down in the mix
Yeah they really shoulda kicked Lars out of his own band
Whoever's at fault for the absence of bass on AJFA, the end result is the same. A great collection of songs that sound way worse than they could have.
Crash course in brain surgery is an awesome cover by Newstead
