VOX Tone Tips: ABY Box and Jumping Channels with the AC30
“The AC30C2 has two channels, but no built-in channel switching. Product specialist Kenny Echizen walks through two ways to get the most out of the AC30’s two channels – using an ABY box to switch channels or use both, and jumping channels for unique tones with both channels.

Don't have room but I need an Ac30 so I can do this. Sounds very cool.
How are you doing that in the normal channel are you using an overdrive pedal or do both channels have a master volume question mark
For me too harsh, too britle. Nothing for me.
I have an ac15 and thought it would explode and go nuclear if I jumped channels. I never did this before. I’m still exploring, but I only have two channels to blend, so. Won’t be too long!
2:57 = eargasm!!
Almost noon? Can you still hear? lol
The volumes must be equalized post production.
Which channel do people commonly use a treble boost in front of? My guess would be the Normal channel.
Isn't there a big volume difference when setting one channel clean and the other dirty?
I just got an ABY to channel jump just for fun , and definately the second version of the jump works for , more openness , chime and crunch , almost Marshally
It’s surprising Vox didn’t make their AC amps channel switching from factory in this day and age, everyone else has.
I killed my tubes within maybe two weeks because I was channel jumping.
Just got mine. Trying this now ????
Jumping the channels. That is the magic ???????? ????
Excellent demo. Please show amp settings next time
So about hearing them both at the same time … ?
Please reissue the UL series amps from the mid sixties
Gr8 product support from the best amp name in the business..
Nice, just what I was about to explore, so great timing.
Where was the master volume set or was it bypassed?
What is that guitar?
