  • Can I use the Blackstar TVP ID 60 HEAD without any speaker cab plugged in or connected and just use the FX send in to cab sim like the mooer rader pedal?

  • I've have this amp. The sound is amazing but there are some issues. If you want to play with a pedal loop you ll have problems when you'll change the clean for a drive patch. I've tryide many differences entry and the best way is use the fx and mp3 as sound in. But the quality of reproduction on mp3 entry is too poor.
Also the OD1 and OD2 is very very similar. I can't see any difference.

  • Awesome review!
The only thing holding me back from getting this head
are the outputs. They are only for 8 ohms- nothing else.
    Just like the Marshall Code100H.
It would be great if Blackstar designed this with speaker outs and selectable ohms.
Much more flexible and you can use almost any speaker cab you wish.

    Otherwise,I’d get the HT100 head

  • Great video Riff Master! I've had an id10 that I love, and recorded with so I just bought this half stack to gig with, you covered all my questions and provided the sounds to go along—-great job!!!!!

  • What type of Cabinet are you using? does the type of Cabinet even matter? Sorry if you think these questions are stupid, I'm not a gear head or even a well educated electric guitar player.

  • I know someone commented this in the other video, but there is an effects loop. You have to connect it to the software and then the Emulated Output can be used as a 'Power Amp Out' and the MP3/Line Input becomes a 'Power Amp In'. And when the effects loop is activated the USB on the front panel doubles as a MP3/Line Input. I was told this by Blackstar themselves. Just figured that i would put it to rest once and for all. BTW great video and i love the amp and I am definatly getting one once I get the money.! its phenomenal!! Could you tell me what kind of cab you are using? And what is the minimum Ohms that the cab allows?

  • Great demo. One of the best independent ones I've seen on You Tube. I'm picking up a 60W 1×12" combo in a couple weeks. Super stoked!

  • The ID260 TVP is madness and I love it. I buy only Blackstar AMPS.
Perfect for Rock /Metal and much more. Best AMP which you can get for 560 €
Blackstar is now my favourite !
you can also play it very quietly. you dont need Headphones
    and the software is top

  • Isn't the ISF feature on this amp redundant If you already have the options to choose tube emulation 6L6 or EL34 or whatever to mimick the Ämerican"or "British"sounds?

  • do you think this would be a decent fit with a Marshall 4×10 mg series? I'm playing nu metal style

  • I'm on the fence on buying this, i've heard theres a delay when switching from clean to distortion when using the fs10 footswitch. as i play live this would be a dealbreaker. Searching on the forums doesnt give a definitive answer. Anyone here knows?

  • Nice Demo! I own the Combo Version, still struggling to EQ it, because the ISF (and the TVP) gives you so many tonal options. But i think now i've found a setting i like. The Amp is very versatile and the Emulated Output is quiet good.
