The Ibanez sounded good, the Fender sounded great, the Victory sounded kinda meh and the Revv sounded a bit better than the Fender.
I think that the GT-300 is the way to go here.
Prob should've added the price of the mic into the mix, unless there's a giveaway of free recording microphones somewhere, in which case⦠uh, link pls?
pinky squier panned hard left. then mexi strat panned hard right. that would prob be a good NIN tone!
Probably should have had someone else dial the tones for this one man
i just learned how to play the riff you were playing lol
The first one sounded really good ????
Definitely the most expensive was the best sounding
That $1000 setup is so nice
Anyway, i prefer Engl.
Or Redseven.
Agree with the comments mostly, I think the mexi strat was the best bang for the buck and obviously that music man sounds really good. Im not super familiar with the Krakens but I know that James Hetfield plays one, so Im gonna assume thats just user error on the tone. To me the really cheap strats like that squire do have a cheap, kind of "plastic" sound to them, especially when youre playing power chords
1000$ wins by far
First of all you proved that being able to play (what you definitely are) is the key. Everything else is left to taste and to what the track needs. IMHO the Mexi Strat with the Mustang GT100 got me the most and I am definitely surprised by that.
The Victory sounds literally so bad lol
Whats the riff or song called?
First and last Iβd say
the mexi and the gt100 was the best in sound
The pink guitar sounds better
I honestly prefer the dirt cheap setup??
Hey Jared, I think your low end eq on the victory was completely turned off.
what's the riff title?
I'll go for the cheap one. Cheap guitar and amp. Nice.
Jus depends on the taste
70$!
What song is that
Houston we have a problem!!! Squier and Ibanez amp actually sounds better than at least two of the other rigs. ????????????
try to use a cheap guitar in expensive amp
Kraken sounded like hot trash maybe the Chapman too, those Krakens sound good , ive heard them before, did u do that on purpose?
i liked the 400 usd
sound one π
0:27
Cheap sounds good
from now on i will stop saying that tone is in the hands, its also in the 2000+ dollar amplifier
Its a good demo! On side note, I own cheap Chinese amps and guitars as well as expensive American made, and to my ears you get what you pay for.
the pink squier was actually dope
Cheap Guitars these days are very good, But the amp though, although you can get an ok sound with an amp like this, if you now what you are doing, be honest would you be inspired this sound if you had to write riffs, or play daily on this? Especially with no experience with gear?
Spectacular video. Exposes the lack of individuals. Even in the so-called open minded music scene. With love be you. Not you equipment.
I really like the first one and last, the second sounds a bit too bass heavy. The last one definitely has that high end tone.
How about the feel of the instrument does an expensive one justify the cheap ones? i only own 2 cheap guitars and i am thinking if i should invest in a more expensive guitar or not.
Please do cheap guitar/pedal expensive p vs cheap amp expensive guitar/pedal
The tone is in god's hands
second was the second best the last one was the best and squier was third.
The kraken sounded good to me. Nice, warm, almost fuzzy, mid tone. I guess tones are subjective.
Very Lamb of God ish riff
Damn that $2250 rig sounds awesome!
