good analysis! good song, but i prefer the bass at the end of red barchetta, which is my favorite rush song.
Moving pitchers* as per RASH! was notified by my neighbour! Heard they 1st band using laser lights! ????????????
"It's YYZ!!!"
Neil Peart stands alone.
It’s an english Wal bass.
The greatest three man trio to ever roam the planet
I always wanted to learn either guitar or bass but switching between strings is very intimidating to me after guitar hero and rock band
How about a breakdown of "The Analog Kid"?! It has got to be one of the best he ever played!!!
There are God's of bass. NHOP makes Geddy sound ordinary. https://youtu.be/GotQd8pKTGQ?si=KAW6h4n8y6caUczG&t=36
Sick breakdown bro…..just sick . Thabks
Geddy is playing a Wal Bass on that tour, Hold Your Fire.
I was at Rush '89 concert air drumming away. Heaven!
????RUSH????#1 GREATEST ROCK BAND OF ALL TIME.
what bass is he playing there??? really?? from 1987 hold your fire until 1995 geddy played a Wal bass.
Bass is a Wal, i think.
Geddy loved Chris Squire and he and Alex used to play the Yes album over and over on their very early days. On desert island discs (an old FM radio program) he picks Relayer as the one album he'd choose to have if stranded on a deserted island. Also — check out Yoyoka's cover of YYZ on drums. She is great without being showy!
It's as though Zeus came down from Mount Olympus and played the bass.
Cause we all play naturally in 10/8 time. ????
That melody in the intro is never mixed loud enough, IMO.
Man, they were totally on fire in this 1988 show, just impossibly good.
Great! Thax.
