Giorgio Terenziani presents Zoom B3n // Test&Overview

Overview and test of the brand new Zoom B3n, I’m sorry for my English but I know you can understand what I’m saying and the main features of theis pedal too. These are my sound, may patches and this is one of the 1st time I’m working on this pedalboard so I’m still evolving every single patch.

The sound you ear is made by
3G handmade Instruments “Sniper Bass”
Monster Cables
Zoom B3n
Motu 896 HD
+ audio of the Nikon 330
No plug in, compression or other things area added… if you look carefully you can also see my personal setup for this video!

  • This is a great video. Thank you very much. A lot of people love to show off the amp models, but not talk about just using it straight as a pedalboard This helped tremendously.

  • Thank you, sir. One of the better B3n tutorials. I just turned the thing on. Your video helps a lot. Zoom should hire you.

  • You have such a unique face.

That probably sounds like an insult. It isn’t. You’re not ugly. I’m just fascinated by your face.

    Anyway great video!! Thanks

  • Hello my Italian friend!

Good review and I am on the fence of getting one myself next weekend.

Pedals are nice but also pretty expensive.

This Zoom is a bargain and the ergonomics are better imho than the Boss GT-1B (yet both sound good).

Greetings from The Netherlands (Paesi Bassi).

  • Sure wish I had seen this video when I first got my b3n. Would have saved me a great deal of frustration. It really isn't all that difficult, as you've shown here, but, for an old, first time user of any kind of pedal, it's a little daunting. This is probably the best video on using the b3n on YouTube. And, to be honest, your English is much cooler than if it were your native language! Oh, and new sub here!

  • Thanks Giorgio. You really described how to get this pedal working. (Now if you could just do vids on all the Eventide and TC pedals, I would be eternally grateful) Really, thanks, I just picked up the bass in the last few years and this pedal is really helpful for expanding my range and breaking down lots of styles to chase. Really fun.

  • I bought one of these. I can't find a way to easily bypass the unit with a single step. To bypass the unit, I need to either find and empty patch or go to the tuner (sound on). Do you know if there is a way to "quickly" bypass the unit? It's the only thing I don't really like about it.

  • This review made me cancel my back-ordered Bx1 Four and order a used one of these. I won't sound as good as you, but I'm excited to tinker with it.

  • ciao Giorgio una domanda.. … per tornare al suono naturale dello strumento cosa dovrei fare ?? ho comprato la zoom b 3n ieri ,ed non riesco una volta collegata la zoom con gli effetti a tornare al suono naturale senza effetti

  • You didn't demo the drum machine! Heh.

That's okay though, this was all the demo I needed. I really think I could make this work in my bass rig now (though I still need to answer exactly how because of placing my Orbital Mod after the B3n). Thank you for this, it's a great demo for how to use what's a surprisingly intuitive pedal.
