So good.
Thankyou.
Loving any chance to get my head around any of JJ Lines At the moment.
Brown baby-diana ross
that,s cool bass lines
Bernadette. Hands down.
Stevie Wonder, “I Was Made To Love Her,” I love James’ groove on this song.❤
James the toughest part for me with these riffs is the timing. I guess with practice I’ll get the feel.
You look so passionate and this sounds good✨
My favorite Jamerson bass line is either Darling Dear or Standing In The Shadows of Love
He was playing with one finger, like me ????????
can't see where to download lesson?
Sorry, but your notation is incorrect above. The rhythm on the first beat is an 8th and two sixteenths with the second sixteenth tied to the second beat. Also, in the fourth beat, it should be two-sixteenths ending with an eighth on the "and" of four.
Darling darling
I’m so glad I found your channel because I recently purchased both a bass and lead guitar to learn how to play some of the classic music I grew up listening to as a child of the 1960s. I should have done this fifty two years ago when I first saw kids my age (Tito and Jermaine Jackson) playing guitar. But this is how l’m gonna spend my retirement years.
Great lesson
I'm not sure if that low E on the first riff works over a Cm
This was absolutely BRILLIANT, James! You're an incredible groove-master, sir!
????????????????
My favorite is "Since You've Been Gone" – Aretha Franklin
Not to sound too trite, do I not hear You're My Everything bass lines carried over to this tune? Regardless thanks for another interesting vid.
BERNADETTE !
For Once in My Life by Stevie Wonder. I love this video by the way; thank you for making this!
Who's Loving You, with Michael Jackson.
I was Made to Love Her – Stevie
How Long has that Evening Train been Gone?
Heard it through the grapevine
Sorry, but I do not get any of the PDF excerpts you proclaim.
Marvin Gaye’s track “What’s Goin’ On.”
How does the count off relate the the bass line, when you count off 2-3-4 or 3-4 or 1-2-3-4 or & 3-4 n the like?
Bernadette!!!
You cheated, JJ used one finger 🙂 Great tutorial.
Thanks
Hey, James ✌???? My favorite bass line from Mr. Jamerson is from My Girl by The Miracles. I know you're a big fan cuz you play the same wonderful P Bass! ????
