Just picked mine up from Mannys in Fortitude Valley today. The one disappointment for me is no Spring Reverb, I’d love to see a drippy spring reverb added to the effects options.
Is it better than waza air. Worth buying ?
They are no different than any other spark amp . A spark go plugged into a 100 watt Fender amp . Sounds like a spark amp for 100 bucks .
I just bought one, sending it back. Its nice for clean tone, but found for rock tone the Boss Waza is the way to go. If you're on a tight budget, save up and get the Waza.
All these headphones will continue to sound like "plastic", especially OD and dist sounds until they have a decent 3d space simulation built in. It doesn't have to move around, like in Boss Waza implementation, but it needs to emulate a 3D space so that you get a feel of playing in a room with speakers next to you, either in front or behind etc. Waza did get that part right, unfortunately the OD and Dist sounds were absolutely horrible. Until then, no matter the cost – it's pretty much a waste of money
Great review! Does anyone know if you have to pay additional for access to the Spark app or is it included?
This is the most usable practice rig ever ❤
can it be connected to spark control ??
Or just plug your headphones into the spark amp ?
Can’t wait to get mine!!! Now I can play when the kiddos are in bed!! iRig is garbage sounding.
Think I’ll come in and grab a set
You don’t need an AMP??? I thought you plugged into the amp but now that I think about it that doesn’t make sense, this is amazing
How is this any different than the Waza Airs???
Is it available on Amazon i want to buy it online
Can’t access firmware download via iPad. You need a MacBook or PC. Volume levels are too low. Try changing these a flagged message comes to go to the website. Using my own tones sounds lower. So playing my own songs is not a happy experience.
Not impressed. I travel so my only device is my iPad that I use for the Spark app. ????
How is the sound when listening to third party music apps? Can it be comparable to other premium headphones like bose or sony?
Cest celui qui en parle le plus qui en mange le moins disait la pub !?
Blablabla et !? Tchao
Bluetooth midi to switch patches?
I hope this will be the end of my neighbor complaining ???? expensive though….
Is it possible using the NEO as an USB recording interface like Spark?
Thanks for the love!
£200 ????
Way too expensive for what it does…this tech is everywhere and it's dressed up as new but it is old and we are paying premium prices for it.
I have had both the old and the new positive grid. I returned them as they are nothing special and with the newest version you need an iphone or something only a few months old, and honestly you are better off buying the katana go…However, even that device is way too expensive.
As musicians we are getting played. All these units are basically the same with just a tweak here and there.
I am a pro musician and i have played on and off the stage for over 30 years, and I have had and still have many of these devices i.e. Positive grid Spark 2 rock
(Well Made but I returned it, $299.00 and it's just o.k. way to pricey it should be $99.00) Rock and Stroll Stuntman (old…$19.99 crap should be $5.00),
NUX ($79.00 metal and sturdy, not terrible should be $30.00), Mustang Micro (Cheap Plastic $119.99 only one preset worth a darn, should be $25.00 plastic), Katana Go (Cheap Plastic $129.00 5-6 presets are not bad should be $50.00 I use this one the most), Vox AmPlug2 (Cheap Plastic works good for the money $49.99…used to be $19.99 should still be $19.99) and many, many more to many to list.
All are way over priced but the positive grid stuff is the worst in price. Just my 2 cents worth. Peace
someone try this on a stealth body or rhoads body and lemme know if it fits cuz it said recessed inputs are questionable
Please be advised that Neo does NOT support looper function on Spark App.
Anyone sees the other use case for this: Wireless mono IEM…
