Premier Guitar’s Perry Bean met with moe.’s Al Schnier, Chuck Garvey, and Rob Derhak before the band’s March 7, 2015, show at Marathon Music Works in Nashville. Among other things, the jam-band vets showed off their selection of silver-adorned instruments built to commemorate their current tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band.

Unfortunately Perry’s main goal seems not to be to present the player and his rig, but rather to make the player think he’s “down” and already knows what he’s gonna say before he says it. I hate to speak poorly about people though, and I think he is genuinely stoked. But we’re here to hear what the players have to say, from their minds, not what Perry (and Chris quite frankly) think they’re gonna say. But after all, still my favorite show! ????✌????

I'm fortunate enough to live right near Becker Guitars and Dan does all the work on all of my guitars and I wouldn't have it any other way. So happy I stumbled upon his place one day. Tiny little shop inside of a warehouse and the work they do is unreal. Awesome shout out to Dan and Becker Guitars.

Perry tries to talk too much. I love his knowledge on gear mixed with being a fan of these bands, but he interviews like he's leading the conversation. That might be his style, Im just not a fan of it but the knowledge in these Rig Rundowns are top notch! Kudos, Premier Guitar.
