No doubt we music lovers were blessed, in 60's and 70's, I doubt there will ever be an era of rock to match that period.
The music produce didn't interfere has much as today, they let the artists do their thing, and if was good, they promoted the hell out it, but did not interfere in the creative process.

It amazes me that these younger people have never heard any of these songs by led Zeppelin or any of the other icons of music history. It really bothers me.
To those younger people who don't even know who led Zeppelin is, you should know that led Zeppelin is the standard for excellence in rock and roll.
I wasn't even born nor did I grow up in that era but I know every single song back and forth a million times over by all of the icons of the 70s… That is the best rock ever made & the foundation for any rock made today end forever into the future.
So might I suggest you listen to all of the albums by led Zeppelin? Listen to them over and over again and please pass it on to your children. I blame your ignorance on your parents quite frankly.
And that is not their best song. Middling at best.
