The dude’s doing most of the clipping in this clip ????
Fuzz is the best
I use distortion and an overdrive as a boost.
The RAT pedal is one of my favorites.
I used it in band practice with a Peavey Bandit 112. My guitar was an Ibanez GIO 170DX with a Dimarzio Evolution Steve Vai Signature F-Spaced (2009) bridge pickup.
It boosted the distortion without ruining the mids and bass of the pickup to produce smooth harmonics while calibrating the mids and bass for lead rhythms.
Epic Legendary!❤️????????????????
My Green Russian Big Muff is my baby <3
ANEURYSM MENTIONED
on my board I got a DS-1, Big Muff, Rat, and a Channel Switch for my amps distortion channel which sounds incredible, I got a Bugera from the 90s w a Marshall cab
kwebellkop?
The Buzzaround Fuzz circuit is my favorite. My Creepy Fingers Buzzaround sounds huge and is dead quiet. Beautifully biased.
metalzone mt2
if there’s one thing they have in common…
they’re good for noise music
The boss sd-1 is my first and current facorite pedal. I. Have a squire sonic tele and a mustang amp from fender
Big muuuuuuuffffff
Proco Rat on all three categories
Empress Effects Heavy Menace!!!
Fuzz face baby!!!
Boss is the best, always. Behringer sound great, but they're cheap and break easy. You can throw a Boss against the wall and it'll still work. And you can make them sound like anything. The older I get, the more I just want overdrive. My go-to is usually to try to make my clean sound close to Brian Setzer or Mojo Nixon and my dirty like The Cults' Electric album.

idk which one should I buy first ????, a fuzz pedal, distortion or overdrive
Boss SD-1, Fender Dual Pugilist Distortion & Dunlop FFM1 Silicon Fuzz Fave. All of which sound & work even better again with a Compressor in front of them & my all time favourite is the tiny but mighty, Mooer Yellow Comp.
I’ve never owned a pedal ???? but just getting my Tele back has definitely made me dive into them. Now just gotta figure out which couple are the best start with.
Volume can be a cut off
Depends on where you put the volume
Fuzz
I finally understand what clipping is. Seeing the waveforms side by side helped me. So thank you for that
That overdriven you used was too smooth sounding for me. I prefer the sound of a tube screamer
Fuzz: Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz
Distortion: Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal
Overdrive: NuX Steel Singer Drive
note: i would like to have these effect pedals that i mentioned on my pedalboard.
fuzz and overdrive all day
I hate overdrive
Distortion ds2 turbo distortion
Fuzz Bigmuff
Your hair is magnificent
nothing better than a Big Muff pedal going into an mxr delay reverb pedal. and I'll die on that hill
Big muff and my aliexpress Klon Centaur overdrive are my absolute favorites
i had a dream where you met a man carrying a large rock
TS into a Rat for me.
I had one of the original Rat pedals I bought in1979 but stuck with the bass and sold it to my guitarist who used it as his mainstay for nearly 30 years when he traded it in for a Princeton and some other crap. We were friends and i recorded at his home studio until he died. As a bassist I didn't use any pedals until 10 years ago when i got into compression but I used my Ampeg SVP for some great preamp distortion into a QSC 825 watt power amp. I play some guitar and my favorites are the King of Tone, the Deluxe Tumnus and the Hot Sugar Drive both of which are very similar and have a Rat clone. A new pedal that I love is the Origin Effects Deluxe 55.
Origin Effects makes the best Compressor as well though I also have the older version of theEmpress effects compressor which is very good but the newer version has a better set of features and I believe it has variable compression ratios where my version has several set ratios which can work but I would have preferred to choose my own ratio for compression. I also have a basic optical compressor which is the easiest to use, dial it in and forget about it and I used that for years no problem to getting a great sound. Sometimes I wonder why I complicate things when something works. I hould probably sit down and figure out what my minimum is an stick with it as i have a big guitar board up in the sudio, a small one in the living room and a bass board in the back room. I guess i have too much. If the 18 year old me looked in I'd be drooling saying why cant I have all this stuff because I was just getting into the club scene and playing 2-5 nights a week in NYC but that's how it goes. When you can afford all the toys your back gets broken from all that work and you cant use it the way you would like. Advice. Enjoy the journey and don't worry about the destination.
