  • Hello Chris, I am your new fan from Argentina, it is incredible how you play and the tone you achieve, I was shocked when I saw a helix on your rig, since I have one and I cannot enjoy any of its effects, they all seem artificial to me compared to analog pedals. I would like if you could tell me what effects you use, since my purchasing power does not allow me to pursue the purchase of pedals. Thank you very much in advance and my full support for your work as a guitarist!

  • You fell off my algorithm, not sure why but I had a whole playlist of your vids, your playing, your tone, phrasing, dynamics and note choices are amazing. So I was thinking, 'hey what happened to Chris Buck?' So I had to go search for you. Glad you're still playing with that delicious creamy tone. Keep it up! I'll come see a gig if I'm in the UK again.

  • Would be great with a roadcase rundown. How do you pack it in a car – what cases for guitars, amps, pedals and what guitar boats etc.
    Please and thank you!????

  • Hey Chris, saw you guys day before yesterday in Cologne, excellent gig and playing! I’m sure you do remember the opening song with the high string calling it a day after like ten seconds in …????

  • I don’t know why you don’t have millions of followers. Probably the most sensitive guitar player coming from the « 21th century » musicians. People make noise about him.

  • I've started saving money now for whenever Yamaha decides to release your custom Revstar…

Also… Love the Wall of Almost Brown!

  • Nice to hear the love for channel 1 on the Fender amps. I also prefer ch 1 on Deluxe Reverbs and was sad that the tonemaster version didn't have the option to run the rev and trm through ch 1 – Not factory but they could have done it? Saw you guys in Gloucester – fantastic.

  • Was not looking forward to the drive from Kent to Brighton to see you last Saturday, but so glad I made the effort and got to see you guys on the final gig of your tour. Great gig – hope to see you again next year!

  • Nice to see ya, mate! We’ve missed you! Great rig. Nice to see what you have going on with your setup. A lot is the same, but there are some nice changes too. Take care, don’t be a stranger!

  • Hi Chris, I‘ve seen you and Cardinal Black in Cologne yesterday as support act for Myles Kennedy and it was amazing. As Myles stated later, you are one of the best guitar players out there. Even a broken string in the first song didn‘t distract you. Thank you and your guys for the beautiful music and for putting a smile on my face.

  • Had the pleasure to see you and your band Cardinal Black just a few weeks ago……… absolutely brilliant to say the least. I had a pint with Tom before the gig what a nice guy. Thanks for a fantastic show. People if you haven’t seen Chris and his band ???? just get out and see them. Best of luck bud ????????????????

  • Pfff I don't like this rig at all. Don't like the P-90 guitars (too noisy). Don't like the Fender amps, or the massive unnecessary pedal board. I like Chris' guitar playing and think he'd sound a lot better with different guitars and versatile amps that do great overdrive and distortion as well as great cleans. With versatile amps he could get rid of 60% of his pedals, plus the power modules and the Line6 Stomp rubbish. I'd also use tube amp reverb and ditch several unnecessary delay pedals – the big Boss Space Echo for starters.

  • I’m here in Texas and bought the CD and am wearing it out. It’s rare that I find a CD that every song is great. Just love ya’ll’s sound. Hopefully you guys make it here to Texas near me. Been telling everyone I know to check out your music. Wish all of you the best of luck. Then you said new music, now I’m excited about hearing those songs.

  • The quips are sending me ???????? I enjoyed this and learned a lot. And making the PDF was a wise choice for FAQs.

  • All killer info! But the one piece of info that wasn't covered was the boots. Anyone know what kind of boots Chris is wearing here?

  • Hey Chris, thanks for doing this! Love seeing all the guitar gear, but REALLY appreciate you mentioning the vocal mics! You guys have a killer live sound (saw you at the Troubadour in LA – though I think you may have been using 58s for that gig) and I am much more of a singer than a guitar player, so I always love to know what people rely on for live vocals. Congrats on all the success!
