The saddles are more comfortably shaped than the vintage style ones you get on stuff even from the custom shop

I like the statin body, but Classic Vibes are great machines that revival newer MIM's. CV's are $300 use not $119 but there are need upgrades to the debut fer sure

I have a $2000 EJ Strat and $2000 Elite Strat. You would think that it would be 20 times better than a $100 Fender but it's not. It's great, but it's probably about 15% better than that Squier and were I to give that guitar a fret job, change the ceramic pickups, little pots and electronic switch, add a heavier block, maybe give it a heavier poly finish, it wouldn't cost that much, or be require that much effort. It would be nearly identical. Guitars don't scale well when it comes to price and quality. Squiers are excellent out of the box.
Very smart move by Fender! Why let all of these smaller companies dominate the cheap guitar market.
the irony of that finish is that i would rather have that finish than the polyurethane bullshit they keep slapping on guitars 10-20 x that price
I'm sure after a proper setup and intonation and the right hands, any guitar can sound good.

if you think of a guitar that plays its good, if you think about what Fender Strat really feels like real 60s 70s strats then this goes to garbage, you can modify it but thats 300 dollars more cca and wood is still ass
I TBH hate squieres for it's markup prices. 70 dollar squiees get marked up into the 200 hundreds

i dropped my to e flat with turbo slinkys sounds better than many of my mexican and some usa models. The mexis and american ones play better and feel better tho. not 1k to 2k better.
