That sound great cranked
In a small venue and direct to my interface, is it needed?

All that money and gear to sound like a $60 Rat pedal
I had a SOVTEK stack back in "the day". When I cranked that thing balls out it was magic!
It sounded like rock Gods from the sky. If it WASNT cranked…..it had zero punch, zero attack, nothing. It was like an on/off switch.
I miss it so…….
Not sure what im missing but this sounds shit to me
I have a fender blues deluxe that I have tuned for perfect bedroom volumes… However… I need to crank it one of these days to hear it at its full potential
????????
Killer? Sounds like a box full of wasps
Got bedroom use… Just get a decent modelling amp. It's a no brainer
It sounded good – but it's the same principle as the Fryette power station. Stereo makes it "different" but not necessarily useful.
Didn't sound good through the DI and into the Genome imho.
I dunno…I just don't get what's so great about distortion ????????????♂️ I mean, sure it's part of the sound of "classic rock", and I guess I find some overdrive & fuzz tones interesting, but in isolation when I hear a distorted guitar, it just sounds like a discordant mess, and boring.
They need to make one that handles the peak wattage of an 100w Marshall 1959 Super Lead. (160w-170w cranked).
The clean tone was much more musical sounding to my ears, I don't get distortion – it makes me feel bad.
15W to 20W cranked is the holy grail. Fender deluxe on 10. Super Champ on 10. Gold.
It sounded very bad 😀
Nah.. I'll stick with my 100$ distortion pedal, thank you very much. Attenuators would be great, if they didn't cost MORE than the freaking amp!
Part of the cranked sound come from the sheer volume hitting the guitar strings and making them ring causing some feedback.
£849….????
i use a volume pedal in effects loop and crank amp
Another loadbox that doesnt works with 2 Ohm amps like a 59 bassman or superreverb????????
But you lose the speaker breakup sound…
I have never turned any of my I approximately 30 or 40 amplifiers all the way up ever. Six is about the maximum. I really can’t hear any difference in the volume if I go up past six.
Is that a new model attenuator ????? 4-2-25.
I mean… it sounds OBJECTIVELY great… soo it's probably worth it for anyone in a studio.
I've got a Marshall DSL1 Head through an Epiphone valve Jr cabinet with a 12-in Eminence it gets all of the gain you would ever want out at a volume you can talk over. And if that is still too loud for you. you can push the button on the back and cut the power in half probably the best sounding High Gain mini head I've ever heard. With the standard Marshall gain channel combined with an additional High Gain channel you got all of the gain you will ever need. Added bonus digital Reverb included it's a great little amplifier. Perfect for recording at home. And actually if you were at a gig where you had a really good PA and good monitor system you could just use that and mic it no power attenuators needed
I had a JCM800 for years. It was never used at home and I don't plug into anything at home. The amp is for band practice and gigs. Maybe people should understand whether they are players or hobbyists. There's nothing wrong with either.
You're better off buying an inefficient speaker for attenuation
For the full cranked experience, does it have something to make you feel like you're going to pass out/soil yourself
?
So it’s a pedal not shaped like a pedal
I can see 2025 being the comeback of cranked Marshalls
Hello. I am bot. ????
some of these attenuators are quite costly ..
Hence why the Fender Blues Jnr never get's played and i bought Spark 2, used it daily.
YouTube has got to get on top of this bot issue. Jesus.
These bots are out of control
I don’t get these AI bots. Were guitar players.. we’d rather spend money on gear than on a fake girlfriend.
Omg the ai goes crazy in these comments
