  • Should I start with my index finger or my pinky? I always use my ring finger.

  • Have another listen to the slide bass line from the A… its different to what you're playing.
But this is still awesome. Great tone. Great track.

  • first video about this song that considerates the hammer on on the last part. BTW I thought it was 3-5.

  • Lefty…… you have done more for my learning than oodles of right handed teachers have ever done. I’m a beginner left hander with the same Hofner violin ignition bass that you are playing and I’m really excited about my progress thanks to you. I get with my right handed guitar player and we actually sound like music!!!!! Hip hip hurray!!!

  • great playing, but i think you might be missing a slight bend at the 9th and 10th measures (and wherever repeated)

  • It’s actually incorrect. Lotta effort to post something incorrectly.

  • I'm convinced …
Most covers pick before sliding up from D to a
But listening to the original the bass is quite dampened and there is only the slide up to "a" then standing on "f"
    You play it more original

  • Okay, so playing hammer-ons in the outro is better than playing just straight 8th notes. But I really don't think that's quite what it is. If you listen to the isolated track, he's not coming from a full half step below the note. It's more like a quarter step. I don't know how he does it.

  • Got the same bass(ignition) and changed to original Hofner pots, WHAT A DIFERENCE!!!
