  • Hello

Is it more judicious to connect the GP200 to an active speaker ? Or in a tube guitar amp (clean channel)..!?

  • You want a plain ol' interface to record on the computer because if you use the effects on the Valeton then you are stuck with them in the mix. With a DAW you can record with effects and remove them if you want and start over without having to re-record the guitar. Old vid so somebody has probably mentioned this already, but just in case… 😉

  • These are fantastic for a practice/mess around deal. My only issue at this point is I can get a Positive Grid Spark 40 for the same price as a GP100… which is completely insane, and is really not something you bring with you VS the pedal, but still, for a new player/downsizing for a dedicated practice setup… seems like a THR, Boss, or Spark might make more sense

  • Well…Valeton says they have same sound, obviously that is a lie, they sound different….

is it good for the price? Nah i think other units deliver better but ok ish.

  • Just adjust upit to the best of your ability to emulate Eddie Van Halen sound with van halen.even with van hagar or a mix of the 2.thats always the test.for any device to tackle.then play your results for us to hear..then we will know it's real usefulness, and capabilitys.case closed.i think I like it.especially the looper.

  • This would have been a better presentation had the guy on the guitar stopped butting in all the time….

  • Usaría el 200 como principal y el pequeño 100 como backup llevándolo en la funda de la guitarra…fantásticos ????????

  • This should be compared to the NUX-MG-101. The latter is cheaper and probably looks like a toy but matches ths GP-100 in performance.

  • How does this compare to the Boss GT100. I've used the GT100 for a few years now. Very good and flexible but I've seen some demos of the Valeton GP200. The modelling, eg classical guitar and mandolin and amps, seem pretty good. Not sure it's as easy to switch sounds during a gig though. Any ideas on how they compare would be welcome ????

  • 8 minutes of faffing about before any real useful comment. C'mon guys get to the point quicker, just tell us what it does……….give us the PATCHES. 12 minutes in and only at patch 5…..jeez………….could Pete not just have done this on his own without all the faffing about……………hope your listening………….

  • How do i change the modes for the looper? Whenever i record a riff and try to change the patch for another riff it changes the first one aswell
