Of all things, a Thunderbird?? Dude, don't go for looks. Go for what works. Dean sounded terrible by the way. Do yourself a favor and get a p bass or a jazz bass. It'll change your life. Keep playing.

I really don't know that much about Dean Edge, but I found a used (but in good condition) Dean Edge 5. It's a 5-string unlined fretless that I'm very interested in but am afraid of overpaying for, since I'm so unfamiliar with the maker. Can anyone tell me what is a fair price range for a bass like that? Or is there anyone who is familiar with a Dean Edge 5 who is willing to give some feedback on it?

Nice man, I got this bass in cherry red for Christmas of 11. I love it so much, beautiful look and sound, and it's weight is great.
I just ordered a mahogany model 1 hour ago. I can't wait for it to get here, I think its a steal at $131.00 on Amazon. Thanks for letting us hear it first.
