  • I bought one, mainly for not needing to humidify.
I was wrong. The fine print says you better humidify it or it could crack. Thinking to send it back.

  • SEEMS LIKE A PRETTY COOL GUITAR I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT A CARBON FIBER GUITAR THIS ONE IS MORE AFFORDABLE I PREFER AN ACOUSTIC GUITAR BUT I KINDA LIKE THE FUNCTIONS OF THIS ONE THE BLACK COLOR IS PLAIN I LIKE THAT AS WELL

  • Get a look at the jacked up bridge pickup. looks like the beat it with a hamer and super glued it back together

  • $350 is like ÂŁ290 I think. For that I would buy it as a gimmick, but for ÂŁ449 now, I would much rather buy a second hand signature series epiphone

  • And they don't actually care about left-handed people. They don't have and they don't even plan to make some left-handed guitars for us.. Maybe we're not a big number so we can hit their capitalistic interest or sum. And also we don't even have the option to change sides in the guitar…

  • This is a really good guitar for beginners! It's very convenient for someone who is always on the go and needs to practice without the head ache of carrying the amp I am really thankful for your review now I am considering buying it

  • The problem with carbon fiber is that it is very porous and is affected by the humidity. It can become saturated and swell in high humidity and fails to shrink back as it dries out. Great guitar if you live in the desert. Otherwise, skip it.

  • genuine question. If it is carbon fibre composite, why has it got truss rod adjustment, presumably it is laid over a wooden neck hiding under the composite ? great review though

  • I’ve bought 2, and sent both back. I would guess this is 5% Carbon Fiber, or less, and 95% Plastic. The body, neck, headstock are all one molded piece. After some play time, the nut and fretboard will wear from the metal strings against the plastic. The wear will not be repairable so keep that in mind. All the other reviews here and elsewhere pretty much nail other pros/cons, especially failing power button and battery failures/shortening life. It is a plastic toy that will not last long.

  • This thing is almost FIVE HUNDRED BUCKS …. WHERE DID U SEE THESE FOR THREE FIFTY ???????

  • 12:12 Good point, definitely needs
a metal plate at the jack.
12:48 Tone Control would be a plus,
agreed, actually a deal breaker without,
for me. The overall shape, look is
great, upper fret access better than
anything Gibson has ever done for
their les pauls, and their 'Modern'
    model's solution looks horrid. ????
I would like to see this model
upgraded, could be a game changer.

  • Okay I bought one. Another on the way. $3k of my other guitars up for sale right now. This thing is AMAZING! the onboard is fun but plugged in it's unreal. This is the future of guitars.

  • The Eyna App has a bunch of tones you can load to the guitar. You can even make a custom tone. So the tone control is indeed there, just not on-board the guitar.

FYI: After a few months of positive reviews this baby now will run you $440, or $490 for the bright colored ones. I got the “Volcano Red/Yellow” one and it is awesome looking!!!

    Great review – spot on!

  • This is a pretty cool option for throwing in the RV or sitting on the couch (I got their acoustic for those purposes). I’m sure I would ONLY use the convenience of the onboard speaker; saving the amp for my other real electric guitars. To even pretend that this is a “Les Paul style guitar” is pretty ridiculous, though. That’s like saying a golf cart is a “Rolls Royce style of vehicle” because it has four wheels.

  • Great guitar. But I wish Enya would incorporate these improvements in its next upgrade: include an onboard tuner like most acoustic-electric guitars (the tuner on the phone is quite inaccurate and cumbersome to use), make it lighter, enable the guitar to be found (if lost) using the phone and Wi-Fi.

  • ENYA a le service commercial et après vente le plus nul du monde , retour produit impossible , on vous mène en bateau pendant des jours !!! MEFI !!!!

  • For recording purposes: Can you mic the speaker on the guitar but still send a line directly into channel or into an amp atvthe same time? Record two tracks at the same time, same performance? That would be cool. I do it all the time by mic'ing a hollow body or acoustic but also going straight into channel for two tones on the same performance.

  • I have an Enya Nova SP1, and what I liked most is that the fretboard is perfect—no buzzing sound. You can adjust the action to high or low, tight or loose.

  • I only wish they would make a quick switch for the effects instead of that weird button you gotta hold down I got the acoustic one thinking about getting this when I start learning electric.

  • I played one in Singapore. I’m going to get one. Very impressed by the speaker sound and effects(has a dedicated app too)

  • Ya I had to buy one because Enya wouldn't return any emails. I was going to use their guitar in the studio and on stage at a live gig but because I don't suck the teets of YouTube I guess I'm not good enough I guess, you'd think they would want to hear a good hard azz rock band busting out wicked solos in front of a full club of people but guess not as the just like the couch or bedroom fartinjg around stuff… But what I did do was buy one and ripped that baby apart and upgraded it with an added arduino loaded with a whammy pedal basically but my ring acts as my foot movement when I pull my hand away from the guitar body, changed the inputs with a custom plate, installed a new better speaker and sounds 100% better and 3x louder, hooked a Pizo Acoustic guitar pickup inside wired to the same input and pickup connections with a little switch above so once switched on I get the blues crunch with an Acoustic sound mixed together sounds real cool added an onboard tuner with a tiny window by the neck, drilled 3 holes to add tone bass and treble knobs to the pickups like a real guitar, swapped their cheap chip on the board for one out of a Marshall amp I used a LM386 micro chip, now its got balls and weighs like a real guitar and sounds 100% better and with all the cool things I added, see what happens when enya doesn't have time for you lol, I just ordered carbon fiber cloth to make real carbon fiber guitars from the les Paul custom mold and flying v mold I made and adding a torn down tank effects pedal or a boss amp simulator with effects as the main system in the guitars it should be fun adding all cool things Enya couldda but never didda to the guitars…. I'll send you a video in about a month as I'm doing the Flying V first…. Thanks to Enya I wouldn't want to beenya cause I'm upgrading yeah….

  • Hi, great review! Do you know if logic or GarageBand for iPad Pro will recognize the guitars interface?
