I have only 2 basses. V7/4. Alder, ebony fret P7/5 S/ash. Maple fretboard. No regrets

The V7 can't hang the a good fender MIA but the P7 can hang with the best Fwbder P basses ever created
They're both nice. I've own both of them. Longer story short, I still have the P7. The V7 was returned to the store 3 weeks later
I was about to buy a Fender Ultra 5 strings in natural or sunburst color.. but I am getting this Alder 5 instead.????????????????????????
I like the P7 a tiny bit more. Can’t explain why, just speaks to me!

I have the V7, but after watching this I want to get a P7. The slap tone is super smooth.
it's very simple: if you prefer the jazz sound then V7, if you prefer the PJ or P sound then P7 🙂

Excellent! I love my V7 5 but I may have to get a P7 5!!!
V7 sounds exactly the way a great jazz bass should sound. BUT… the P7 sit exactly where an amazing bass should in the mix. And with the P7 you can be a PJ or a straight P bass. 2 for 1. Slight edge P7!
