Great interview. Seems like she knows where she wants to go and she isn't afraid of taking on big songs. I've heard her do covers of some songs that others stay away from. And when she pulled out the Dobro and the resonator, I thought she might be doing some Rory material. That would be cool.

There is not much in the way of music I like which is blues based rock/classic rock, but Sam covers all that ground for me. She's not the typical "blues woman performer/guitarist".. I hate all those girly come lately's that just scream blues w/ zero originality. Samantha is in a whole 'nother league. I'd put her up there w/ my faves like P.J. Harvey.
