  • I have the black one of these and it sounds nothing like this. I can't get a nice tone out of it. It's really muddy sounding and kinda crackles like the signal is clipping on the output. After hear hearing this, I think I might need to strip it down and rebuild the electronics.

  • Someone has an Ibanez Iceman ICB 300 Bass on my local Craigslist for $680. I made an offer but they refused. I wish I could buy that thing but it doesn't look promising

  • I had one of these when I was a kid. Back then I thought it was a bad bass but I believe I was just a bad player haha

  • @groovydjs Well I ended up getting a Ibanez sr300m instead as I wanted a more neutral genre bass and I couldn't find a iceman near me anyway. I am truly enjoying playing bass and once again Ibanez has impressed!

  • @MrKj3ll Yeah, this on is so incredible. It's easily my favorite too of all of them that have ever been made. Let me know if Santa Claus is nice to you!

  • I want this bass so bad! I love the look of the iceman and in that metallic snowy white it looks incredible! Hopefully I'll get one around christmas.

  • @SiloetsOfTheDead Sweet. You'll love this Iceman bass. They've made a few that were aweful, but this particular one is great. I love the looks of the Epiphone Thunderbird, but the quality isn't very good. I hope you've found one in particular that is better than the rest. Be sure to send me a video of them when you get them!

  • @lolipoppification Great my friend. The folks over here in the USA don't know what they are missing with this one. We don't get all of the fun Ibanez products that you have available to you. I still find my ways to get them though. lol Congratulations on the awesome bass!!!!!!

  • @lolipoppification That is true, Europe does have them. I love this bass and you will too. It's easily one of their best ones to ever come out. Enjoy it and let me know when you get it and how much you like it.

  • @Frommel2000 Very cool, I couldn't agree more. This is one of my favorite versions that they have released.

  • That was the ICB200, not the EX like I have here. The EX is only available in Europe. The one you found was only available in sunburst and had Gold pickups and hardware. Totally different bass.

  • The 300 is as white as they come and the 200 was an off white with some glitter in the paint. The 300 is beautiful and has tone to spare, it's just not quite as well built as the 200. Be sure to have the neck checked out. I ended up with 3 of the 300's and the necks were warped beyond what the truss rod could fix, but being a bolt on, they were cured in a couple of days with heat and clamps.

  • Yeah, but i've checked in some shops and it says it's discontinued. 🙁 So i think i'm gona go for the 300, i prefer the binding too.

  • Then, I would actually go for the 200….if you have access to it. It is a better feeling bass and a better built bass also. It will take more of a beating without any worries of falling apart on you. I would personally choose it over the 300 if I were to buy them all over again.

  • Yeah well i live in britain, so shipping wouldn't be a problem, for a Punk Rock band would the 300EX be better?

  • The ICB200EX is only available in Europe and would cost a lot to ship here and is a great sounding bass. The IC300EX Has more control over the active electronics. So, it actually comes down to if you prefer the major funk sound of the 300 or the simpler 200 without the binding and such.
