  • I have an HM-2 from the 90's and it sounds like dropping a box of nails on a glass table. Not for me. I like my Maxon OD808.

  • I own the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe, and you've probably seen me type positive things about that pedal on our various shared FB guitar groups. When I use it, it's mostly to thicken up my clean tones beyond what a neck pickup can do, with zero gain while pushing bass and mids. That being said, dialing in a bit of drive, and altering the 3-band EQ can also do fun things to dirt channels on high gain amps. Plus, it sounds gorgeous as a gainy OD into a clean channel.

I would love for someone to compare & contrast the Tumnus Deluxe with the Lichtlaerm Audio Aquaria someday. I've had the good fortune to have brief, positive exchanges with both Brian Wampler and Daniel Ringl so I'm not looking for a "winner" in that proposed shootout. I just want to see & hear what there is to see & hear and I figure I'm not alone.

    Have a good'n,

    -Joel

  • 9:28 Funnily enough my first question when I saw the thumbnail was "How do you prefer your 2×12? 2 1x12s or half a 4×12?". The ENGL 212V IRs on Two Notes are some of my favorites

Definitely go for the HB R-446!
