How to Make YOUR Deluxe Reverb Sound Like a MARSHALL! #guitar #vintagefender #tonetips
Most people don’t think the Deluxe Reverb can sound like a Marshall when it’s pushed, but I beg to differ!
Volume at 6, treble and bass to taste. No pedals needed!
Guitar is a @FrankBrothersGuitarCo Arcade with @LAMBERTONES and @sunbearpickups4978

Needs more mids.
Sounds killer. Not Marshally killer, but killer nonetheless.
That does NOT sound ANYTHING like a Marshall amp! Ya'll gotta get your ears checked!
Sounds like a fender still lol
If it’s hardwired you can clip the end of the eq circuit on the normal channel and put it on a toggle switch then it sounds like a cranked jtm45z
Clipping the bright cap will cause the deluxe to break up quicker at lower volumes
2. 2.1/2 vs 5….up on most. Also using a lower watt speaker will do the same. Better for recording.
You can also place a piece of foam rubber over the grill cloth' different thickness to help tame down the volume at higher volumes….
stage or studio.
That's quite the abundance of high end coming out of that amp. Not really hearing the "Marshall" tone. But, it does sound just like a cranked Fender. That's something.
His gay ankles look dead
Nice I've been looking for videos showing the deluxe overdriven and high gain, has a really good dirty rock tone
Ear plugs sensible? ????????????❤
That sounds nothing like a Marshall. lol
Cool that you're dialing in your sound…but, that didn't really sound like a marshall.
Sounds great and super cool. I think that fender amp is the one I've used the least, as I thought the breakup was too early when playing with a drummer. But for recording or ..I don't know some generally quieter elements(light drums, I guess), that sounds awesome.
You arent even plugged into the amp smh
Not good at all thin brash sounding horrible
Sounds to me like what it is
i like the how part…
Is this a DRRI?
Is this a joke.?
When Gen X says a Deluxe Reverb is the best amp ever and all most people need, it’s because we know. One amp and a great guitar. Next you show how to dial clean to crunch to solo with your knobs or flipping bridge to neck pickup. It’s all there and yes, low output pickups are better with a cranked amp. Just dime the volume and treble and turn the bass low or off.
Sweet sound, but it's clearly a driven Fender sound and not Marshall.
You literally shouldn't want to make your Deluxe sound like a Marshall. It's like putting three single coils on a Gibson Les Paul.
By the way, it doesn't sound like a Marshall at all. YouTube is a place for everything, I guess.
That does NOT sound like a Marshall at all. It’s a cool usable sound but sounds nothing like a Marshall. The EQ is pure hi-lo Fender. Your mid-freqs are non-existent.
Or: Buy a Marshall
How did you not blow your ears out? Did you use an attenuator?
Kill the reverb? That's blasphemy!
With a pedal possibly,, sounds good though!. Most importantly what speakers was used? With the right speaker and those setting i reckon you'd be spot on ????
I mean it’s a great tone. But sounds like a classic fender tube amp.
Does not sound like a Marshall in any way. Sorry, dude.
give it up
Bass 2.5, Treb 10, Vol 10. Check it out. Also, run an external cab instead of the internal speaker.
Nahhhhh
This is not Marshall Sounds but sounds is good!
Sounds great, but honestly sounds like an overdriven Deluxe, obviously which it is… Either way, cool as cake, man! ❤
Sorry. Not a Marshall.
I need that
Awesome video love to see how these can be used. That’s probably why these amps are some of the most recorded amps ever. Very versatile!
As studio musicians and engineers, knowing how to get different sounds from the gear you have or that your clients bring into the studio is extremely important. Great video man!
Why not buy a Marshall?
